Ready Set Glow – Summer Is Coming

Summer is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start working on your tan in order to get ready for summertime activities and events.

Getting the perfect tan isn’t always easy, but we will provide you with a guide that will make the process much simpler by providing you with some valuable tips to help you get the perfect tan.

According to Ellisons when it comes to tanning, there are two ways to go about it. You can get bronzed using one of the various fake tan products available, which will give you the desired effect, or you can do it the natural way by basking in the sun.

Before we go any further, you have to understand that we do not think there is anything wrong with fake tans because some people have sensitive skin and too much exposure to sunlight can be detrimental to their health. Besides, a lot of fake tan products provide realistic tans that are difficult to differentiate from the real deal.

With that being said, the first rule of tanning is making sure your skin is protected from the sun, which is why we recommend using sun lotion before you start your tanning session. The SPF you use should depend on how sensitive your skin is to the sun.

Before exposing your bare skin to the sun, you should prepare your skin by dry brushing it with a brush that has natural bristles. After brushing your entire body, you should jump in the shower and alternate between hot and cold water to increase your blood circulation.

After your shower, you should apply moisturizer to your skin. You can use oils if you prefer, but make sure they are both rich in vitamin E. The moisturizer/oils help improve your skin’s elasticity and texture, which will help you get a better tan.

Twenty minutes before going out into the sun, apply sun lotion all over your skin. To increase the speed of your tan, use lotion that has tan accelerator because the accelerator is designed to increase the melanin in your skin and improves your tan while protecting your skin from harmful UVB rays.

After you’re done in the sun, apply after sun lotion on your skin to reduce the skin peeling while prolonging your tan. If you stayed out in the sun longer than you wanted, be sure to apply extreme sunburn gel to reduce the heat from the sun burn and help with the healing of your skin.
